14 Best Alcohol Free Craft Beers

Alcohol free and low alcohol beer sales have seen a mighty 28% rise in sales over the last year.

It’s so popular, in fact, that over at Nirvana Brewery they have dedicated their whole brewery to alcohol free beer. hoppist Founder, Michael, is actually a big fan of their stout.

Alcohol Free, Low Alcohol, De Alcoholised, Non Alcoholic – What does it all mean?

There’s a lot of jargon that comes along with the sector, and this varies from country to country, but here’s our quick and easy jargon buster for the UK.

  • Low alcohol – below 1.2% ABV
  • Alcohol free – below 0.05% ABV
  • De alcoholised – below 0.5% ABV
  • Non alcoholic – below 0.05% and can’t be used in conjunction with a name associated with alcohol

Be cautious when choosing your tipple, as imported beers can be labelled as alcohol free up to an ABV of 0.5%.

This is Harvey’s flagship beer, just with the alcohol removed!  It uses a blend of four aroma hops to give a delicate bitterness which is balanced with malty sweetness.
