We love London’s beer and you should too.
We’ve been busy gathering the details of all the breweries in London. And we’re delighted to announce that we now have the highest number of breweries in the capital in 150 years.
Having tripled in the last 5 years, there are now 111 breweries in London, and another 20 pubs & bars with on-site brewing equipment.
Not since the reign of Queen Victoria has our beautiful city had this many active breweries!
Where are all these breweries? Look no further!
We’ve put them all on this interactive London Brewery map.
Breweries of all shapes & sizes
There are a few different types of breweries around, from giant historical institutions like Fuller’s all the way down to small nanobreweries like the aptly named Small Beer in Southwark.
The great news is that 72 of the breweries have an on-site taproom to cater for all of your sessioning needs, so there’s no excuse to keep drinking the same old low-quality supermarket lager.
If you want to discover London’s craft beers & get a taste of beers from all over the city, you can sign up to our London craft beer hoppist box and we’ll deliver a box full of brewery-fresh beers to your door every month. We’ll even tailor your boxes to your tastes each month as we learn what you like & what you don’t!
Top 10 London Boroughs
It’s no surprise that Southwark, home of the Bermondsey Mile, tops the list. Hackney comes in second, with a number of the pioneers of the London craft beer scene starting up here. In third is Haringey, after a few successful breweries found they had outgrown their more central locations.
Waltham Forest (8)
Richmond upon Thames (6)
Tower Hamlets (6)
