Truman’s has been part of the brewing scene in London for almost 350 years.
Originally established in 1666, it closed its doors in 1989. Luckily for us, it was re-established by James Morgan and Michael-George Hemus. When re-opening the brewery, James and Michael-George collected the original Truman’s yeast strain from the National Collection of Yeast Cultures (it has been stored in liquid nitrogen since the 1950s!).
So when you try a new Truman’s beer, you’re still tasting part of history.
